hosts file

Am try to view my hosts file i did

sudo -s
my password
/etc/hosts

but i get bash: /ect/hosts: No such file or director

am new to mac just got my imac a few days ago.

sudo nano /etc/hosts

This will prompt for password then open hosts in the nano text editor. Use ctrl + x to close.

You can use "sudo cat /etc/hosts" to just view the contents, if you don't wish to make any changes..
