mini dvi to hdmi cable?

I already have a hdmi cable so I was wondering if I could buy a mini dvi (male) to hdmi (female) cable instead of buying two new cords, a mini dvi to dvi and a dvi to hdmi. Has anyone else done this? thanks cody

Perhaps I misunderstood that first post, but I don't think so.

In any case, yes, you can buy one and there is a link for one in my first post.

??? No, it doesn't work. Sorry, they just sell them to rip off their customers. ???

Way... way too many specs to list.
make sure that the DVI's are compatible.. there are differing connections. My wife had a mini-display to DVI cable.. and we had a DVI to VGA cable... the two won't plug together because the DVI > VGA has 4 extra pins.
