Use Of my Current Monitor on The MACBook Pro

I'm currently using a Sony Artisan GDM-C520K CRT Monitor on my Windows PC. I'm seriously thinking of buying an 15" MacBook Pro and will be using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop on it. I would like to know if I can connect this to MacBook and if so what adapter will I need to buy, is any other software I will need, and will it require a specific set-up? Would it be better to install Microsoft Operating system on this MacBook to make it work? Arnold

Also check the resolution specs for Sony and see if they correspond to supported resolutions on MacBook, then check for adaptors. Mac specs here i u need them Apple MacBook Specs (All MacBook Technical Specs) @ EveryMac.com
