Looking for a freeware to remotely connect from my mac at home to office mac

I am looking for a good freeware to connect from home to my office mac that will allow me to do file transfer and see the desktop of the other mac. I have a macbook with os 10.5 on it can someone recommend...

If you have one of the Leopards and a MobileMe account you could use "Back to my Mac"

No really just looking for a generic Free remote utility to share files with the mac in my office while i work from home.

Another vote for LogMeIn. I use the free version to remote control my parents' iMac and have been pleased with it.

Logmein free is excellent. I use dropbox too.

The combination of the two will sort out both your requirements.

Logmein and dropbox both have iPhone apps too if that's your thing.
