keep getting crashes in when I open MS Word 2008

Hey everyone I keep getting crashes in when I open MS Word. I updated to the most recent version via Microsoft auto update. Then I repaired my disk permissions and it still didn't help. All that did was buy me a couple of hours before it started crashing again. Here is the log info... . I'd appreciate any help you can offer. I've attached the error report as a txt file.

Pop your Office (2008? you don't say?) CD in and look for the uninstaller. Run uninstall, and then install a nice clean version and use the original first list activation code from the back of the CD jacket. Update from the Mactopia web site to version 12.2.3 and all should be swell.

Also if you are using SL, have you activated Rosetta?
