Sil 3114 - Tiger - G4 PowerMac

I have a PowerMac G4 800 Mhz 512MB RAM running Tiger 10.4.11. I need to know if I can insert my wife's SIL 3114 SATA PCI card that has been flashed to non-raid mode in my computer and have it run and pick up the drives.

I read on that hacked OS X site that you can do it but this is not a hacked Mac, this is a real Mac. On that site it said that the drivers for my SIL card are already installed with the OS.

Please advise.

It won't hurt just to pop it in. You can download the drivers off the company website to be sure.

There are no drivers for OS X on the Silicon Image website.

Back from testing. It may work on a Hackintosh, but it does not even allow the system to boot when using a real Mac.
