I have an existing share on a Windows 2000 server, and I am try to save files with LongFileNames. The server keeps truncating the file name, adding a "~". I had them create a new share for me, with same result. HELP?

can you still open the files? is it the filename or extension that is getting truncated?

I dont think there is a lot you can do! Apart from rename all your files.
