Program to record mac screen

Hi all, i know there are tons of software out there that allows one to record on-screen movements, like those for screencast purposes.

Any suggestions/recommendations? Which one do you use? Preferably one that is freeware. :Blushing:

ScreenFlow is also nice. It's got a really simple UI and has some decent tweaks and effects.

In snow leopard you can record the chat in the app. Both iShowU and Screenflick do a good job and both allow one to select area to be recorded.

OMG THANKS!!!! i didnt know there was a built-in for snowleopard. all the hassle with third party programs when SL QT has it.
