Duplicate icon in "Open With"

After updating VLC a duplicate icon appeared in "Open With". How do you remove the extra icon of VLC?

Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Sounds like you still have the old version on your system.
What I would do, is use AppCleaner or AppZapper to completely remove VLC, and then download Version 1.0.3 again, and see if that solves it.
