Your Mac's Specs
17" MacBook Pro, 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, not unibody
Go to System Preferences > Accounts. Once you unlock that there should be an option to enable automatic login for your account. Then you don't have to type your password to get on every time.
Hope that helps.

Your Mac's Specs
Back to my old 2.2GHz C2D MB after selling my MBP and wondering what my next Mac will be :)
Keep in mind that if you don't have a password, anyone can use your computer (even a thief)! There are many hard luck stories on this forum from people who didn't have their computers password protected.

Is it really such a pain to have that little but of security?
