Ok, few questions.

So i have my Gmail account setup in Mail.App using IMAP. I finally have a good understanding on what all the folders/labels are.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when i delete a message from my Inbox, it just expunges it, right? Which removed it from all lables/folders, but it stays in All Mail?

Gmail's Mail.App recommendation settings are when you delete a message from your Inbox, it just goes to "On my Mac > Deleted Messages".
Does this also expunge the message?

How long does an expundged message stay in "All Mail"?

Is there a way that when i delete a message from my Inbox, it goes to [gmail]trash and also removed from all mail?
Then when i am ready i can just empty the [gmail]trash out and the messages are for ever gone.

Any help is SUPER appertained.

Another thing i'm not sure about is. What to set these Gmail settings to...

Auto-Expunge:
* Immediately expunge messages when I mark them deleted in IMAP
* Do not automatically expunge messages

When a message is expunged from the last visible IMAP folder:
* Archive the message
* Move the message to the Trash
* Immediately delete the message forever
Its currently set to "Immediately expunge messages when I mark them deleted in IMAP". Which disabled the second setting.
