"no recorder found"

Hi,
I got a macbookpro 15", For some reason it is not recognozing when I insert a disc. So I thought I would open toaster first so it could prompt me but it said "no recorder found". How do I get it back? Thanks.

Sounds like the drive is not properly connected

If it is still under warranty, take it back to the Apple store

it worked friday...and i've been dealing with an issue with an external hard drive and usb port not reading. Maybe a connection?
