iMac - How do i use the external screen as the main display?

Hey, this is my first time posting on this forum

I'm wondering how or if it is possible to use an external display as the primary display, as my external screen is larger and nicer to use i feel that it would be great for edits using photoshop, i have moved the photoshop canvas and toolbars over to my external however my "taskbar" (the bar at the top? correct me if i'm wrong) is still on my iMac display - and it's really annoying going back and forward...

Has anyone got any suggestions? Help would be much appreciated

You need to go into your Display settings and drag the menu bar over to the other display.

Go to system prefs > Displays and there should be an arrangement tab.

There you will see the 2 screens, just drag the white menu bat in the arrangement dialogue to the other screen
