I have tried both and chose Fusion. Both worked well but Parallels was slower and really slowed my machine down when doing things on the Mac side of the house. Fusion was quicker and while it also slows down my machine it is not nearly as bad. I have 2 g of ram and could probably use a little more but my preference is Fusion.

Tried both, and ran Parallels for several years. I settled on Virtual Box in the end. It's free to try and free to own. VB does just about everything the other two do.
