Anyone using the Beta of the Google Browser yet....what do you think?

I tried it...it seemed faster than Safari and obviously faster than Firefox but I didn't like the set up of the browser at all...especially the location of the "Other Bookmarks" folder or even calling it that. I didn't care for the "up" tabs either.

I didn't know it was available for OS X yet.

As of right now, it's only a developer preview and not even beta quality. From what I've read, a beta could be coming in December. So, expect things to change.

I've been fooling with the dev preview and it's okay. It is fast (uses WebKit just like Safari does) so that's why you'll see comparable speeds. They do use different JS engines (SquirrelFish vs V8) though.

It's called google chrome, I use it on my gaming PC and I like it.
Will be checking it out when it comes out of beta ... it's looking like a December release.

OK, just snagged it. Seems to be quite similar to Opera. Quick.

I like it OK, but I still use Opera as my default browser, simply because Chrome lacks features that Opera has, such as a sidebar and skins (although that will probably come in the full version of Chrome for Mac when that comes out, as the Windows version has it). I like it as a browser, but it needs more features and more Mac-like organization.
