i am trying to connect my macbook to my tv.
i purchased a min-dvi to video adapter, thinking that if i used an s-video cable it would input both the audio and video to the tv like it does with my dvd player. this is clearly not the case since the video is perfect but there is no sound.
other posts on here that say the audio needs be run through a separate cable, but i know for certain that the headphone jack on my macbook is broken so the usual advice of outputing sound through there will not work for me.
is there any way of outputing sound without using the headphone jack?
any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!
