Hi folks,

Just a quick question for anyone out there who knows. I have a macbook pro 2.33 / 17inch (march / april 2007 model) and currently have 2gb of ram installed. I'm looking to upgrade the amount but i'm not sure whether mine supports 3gb or 4gb. I seem to remember 3gb sticking in my mind from when I bought it but if anyone could help me out it would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Kieran

Your Mac's Specs
15" MBP '06 2.33 C2D 4GB 10.7; 13" MBA '14 1.8 i7 8GB 10.11; 21" iMac '13 2.9 i5 8GB 10.11; 6S
That model will recognize that 4 GB are installed, but it can only use 3 GB.

You can put 4 GB in the machine, what I did in mine (supposedly it will maintain dual channel mode that way).
