stored password locations

I have a user with a Mac on my windows network. She connects to one of my data drives, it ask her for her password which she recently changed and she puts in her new one but will not let her in; i put my creds in and it works fine. She did change the password in the Utilities section. Where else would she have to change her password so it will work? any help is greatly appreciated.

Was her account password on the Windows machine updated? I think the account prompt for connecting to a file server is for an account on the file server, not the computer connecting to it.
