Hi Everyone,
I just bought a brand new Macbook Pro (my first Mac experience, and i LOVE it!) and everything works peachy, except when I plug in my 2nd gen. iPod Shuffle (less than 1 year old).
I've downloaded the most recent software for the Shuffle and iTunes 9.0
however when i plug my Shuffle in, it takes FOREVER for iTunes to not only recognize it (takes nearly 5 tries to eventually get it going), but for it to sync songs.
But when I plug in my iPod Touch, it works smooth. I just don't get it. I've restored the Shuffle "x" number of times, but it only works when it wants to.
I know it's not a problem with the Shuffle or my USB cable because it works perfectly when I transfer songs on my PC.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if there's any way to get around it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
