Does this mean the number of Safari related threads is about to take a nose dive?

For some reason when I updated it on my 2.4 ghz Aluminum Unibody MacBook it reset my date to 12/31/00 upon restart. Has anyone else seen this?

I haven't, but there are posts on the forum about date/time indicators gone missing from the menubar after the upgrade ... Maybe there is a relationship

Hmmm.... Maybe so. I also noticed that there was a stack of notifications from my firewall asking if I should allow or deny access for the processes krb5kdc, nmbd, and cups-lpd upon restarting my computer. I denied them all not knowing what they were but I found that they are common processes after a quick google search. Thanks for the info!

You guys wouldn't think it would be a virus or anything would you? I am very new to OSX (6 months). Is it not too uncommon to have a couple things goof up after an update? Other than having to manually change my date back, everything is fine, so I guess I need to quit worrying about it LOL.

I actually read that article when I first bought a Mac! I had a hard time believing that such a popular OS hadn't been hacked yet, so I did some searching for a Free OSX anti-virus and stumbled across that article. I'm so used to being worried about my PC that I can't relax even on a Mac XD!
