A month or so back we got new MacBook Pros at work which we are to take home with us etc. Today I am sitting at my girlfriends house and the computer is unable to find the internet unless I turn on/log into our VPN via VPN-1 SecureClient. When i have this laptop at my house or my aunts, it connects to the internet no problem. All 3 places use Comcast Wireless Internet, all places are very close to the hub etc so it's not a connection issue.

Has anyone else run across this and/or have a solution.

A workmate of mine also recently ran into this issue at his house.

We are running:
OSX 10.6.1
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 1067 MHz DDR RAM

I have installed 10.6.2 combo update and it still doesn't work - I still have to connect to the VPN in order to get the internet to work...

Turns out I had to make a new location - Not sure who put settings on the original one that prevented the connection, but now I can by pass it...
