To be honest...the model looks a little "grumpy" or tired!

I find the contrast of the clean white shirt and the dark background a bit hard for the eyes.

What is that white-ish shadow just above the right shoulder ?

The girl needs to smile. I agree with McBie and agree with the contrast with her shirt to the background.

Well you did say she wants to be a model and that scowl is the CONSTANT look on the catwalk. She is practising! Lovely contrast with the autumn tonings in the background.

Yeah...in the 2nd photo (with the lamps) the model (your girlfriend) really looks like she wants to "scratch" someone's eye's out!

Maybe you're not paying her enough $$$ for the modeling gig!

Yeah...I was just teasing! I get those looks from my wife plenty ...but then most of the time I do something on purpose just to get that look!

i just added a lil blur to the image and cropped it a lil bit on the sides to off center her. by the way she looks very closed off and not open at all her legs and arms are crossed.

Haha thanks .... I wanted to see what you thought and i am glad you like what i have done. I just put it together rather quickly. There are a few tweeks that i would make if i were to do it to the best of my ability. but next time get her to smile even if you have to tickle her or something.

There is too much shadow on the right side of her face...try and balance the light on the subject more

Thanks ZorroAMG, I love that style of shadows with strobist lighting!

Perhaps a shallower depth of focus too, there is too much going on in the background.
