how to clean a keyboard

hi.. as post says lol...

iv got a thin aluminum keyboard and its got stuff spilt on it.(kids eh lol).
is there any way of cleaning it with anything that wont damage it?

sorry if iv posted in the wrong area.

1st thing keep the kids away from it .. :) ;P

2nd would just use a soft fibre cloth damp if it is a liquid spilt or dry if its just crumbs.

Compress air to blow away crumbs and dust ....
