Can't find my main HD

Hi!

I just have a quick question about snow leopard and the desktop...

My computer broke a few days ago, (macbook pro), and I sent it to apple.
Nicely enough, Apple updated my computer to Snow Leopard!

Anyways, On my desktop, I can not find my Main Drive, "Macintosh HD"
The "Macintosh HD" drive was always at the top right when I had Leopard and Tiger.

Is there a way to put it back on my home screen?
I try to search for it in Finder, and drag it to the home screen, but it does not work..

Any ideas?

in finder, go to Preferences, General and check "Hard disks" under "Show these items on the desktop.. this is actually a pretty common problem.. with the 'Urgent' in the title though I was expecting a problem, rather than a usability issue
