I wanted to know whether we can run 2 mac os on a mac.

You could use Disk Utility to partition the HD and put an OS in each, then start and hold option key to select which one you want to boot into.

You can partition your HD.
Be aware that you will need to back up your hard drive before you partition it, and then once you are done you can restore it.
Before continuing, can you give the specs of your Mac, what OS is on it, and what OS's you want to put on it?

Where my dad works, they have a Mac with System 9 and OSX x10.4. So it can be done.
