I'm currently a music tech student in university, and so wouldn't mind having my own mac to make things easier. I'm on abit of a budget, and so I thought maybe a G5 would be a good option. The only thing is its running tiger 10.4.11 And pro tools 8 requires at least a 10.5. So i was just wondering if anyone knows the approximate price of upgrading it to leopard?

On eBay in the United States, original retail copies of Leopard are selling for about $100+. eBay is probably one of your better options to obtain a copy of Leopard, since the Apple Store no longer sells them.
