I'd imagine with most of the settings throttled back to low/medium, it should run fine. And of course, better on XP seeing as how it's less resource intensive overall.

By late 2008 I'm assuming you mean the unibody 13" Macbook. That comes with a 9400M graphics card, which means you'll definitely be able to play Modern Warfare 2. However, don't get your hopes up on the graphics. I'd say Medium at best.

Yes, it is the unibody 13" macbook w/ 9400M. How much would i torture my macbook if i used the mini-display port to play this Modern Warfare 2 on my 24" Monitor???

Hah, if you're going to be running at the monitor's max capacity, good luck. The 9400m is really good for an integrated chipset, but it's still an integrated chipset.

The 13" Macbook unibody supports an external screen resolution of 2560 x 1600. Technically speaking, there's nothing preventing you from doing so. However, I've personally never tried it, so I don't know the logistics of whether or not it'll actually work. However, I can guarantee that you won't be able to play at the maximum resolution of your 24" monitor, which I'm guessing is 1920 x 1080 or higher.
