does anyone know how to correctly change your computer screen??

my screen broke, ordered a replacement, now blacklight doesnt work on the new screen can someone tell me step by step how to change the computer screen to see if i did it right?

Pay special attention to hooking the inverter up to the display. You'll find that step in the directions (URL given to you by Dysfunction). Since the backlight is included in the display, the likely problem is no power from the inverter to the backlight.
