- 15" MacBook Pro, 2.53GHz, 4GB, Snow Leopard + iPhone 3G
At college I am doing the sound for next months production of midsummer nights dream. The idea is that we have 8 speakers around the audience and we can use 3D sound to make the play a bit more 'magical'.
At college I managed to dust off the digidesign 001, an audio interface with 8 outputs! The only problem is that is has some strange old plug on it and the only thing I can connect it to is an old Mac G4 (800MHz, 768MB SDRAM, OS 10.3.9).
I was wondering if there was any way to use this G4 as a median to connect the digidesign 001 to my MacBook Pro as the G4 is not as fast as I would like it to be and I cant install newer software on it.
