Monitor resizing

Hello all I am new to Mac and I just hooked up my g5 I bought that has leopard on it and i have an hd tv that i use for my monitor but it doesn't have any controls to let me reposition the screen it's all off center is there a program that will let me reposition my screen I didn't have any problems with this until i updated leopard now the only way it works is with the VGA connector and that sucks please let me know.....:Angry:

Try System Preferences - Displays > Geometry and fiddle about with image positioning there.

Geometry? What OS has that? 10.5.8 (my OS) does not.

Tiger. It may have gone from Leopard. My assumption was that it would be retained as an essential part of monitor adjustment.
