A buddy of mine gave me a 700 mb version of Vista he burned to a disc. I installed it but after a month or so uninstalled it because it wasn't working properly. I went into Boot Camp assistant and erased the Windows partition and returned it to one operating system. However, whenever i turn on the Mac it goes to a black screen from Windows and tells me to put in the boot disc from Windows. Any way to get this to stop?

Hold down the option key while booting and select your MacHD to boot from.

Then open System Preferences - Startup Disk - select your MacHD there and then click on reboot.
