Time Machine Question

Let me get this straight... If I backup everything with Time Machine, reinstall OS X, and then load my recent backup from TM, my computer will be exactly the same? All my settings and software will be intact?

Just make sure that your new OS is the same or newer then what you had when you used Timemachine last. If you go down, which is unlikely, it won't work.
