iTunes from iPod to Mac

I just bought a CD from iTunes on my iPod but I can't seem to access that music on iTunes on my Mac. I checked the iTunes store on my computer and the purchase history shows the CD, but I can't seem to get it on my Mac. Is there any way I can do this?

Did you plug the iPod into your computer?

If you plug in your iPod, I believe you can "Transfer Purchases" or something (I don't work on an english version) from the "file" dropdown menu.
