Where do i get Kernel Panic information?

my iMac G5 had a kernel panic last night when i got home. the only thing on the screen was the screensaver. I do not know what else was running because i was at work. Where can i get the print out i see on other kernel panic threads?

Check 'Console' in Applications => Utilities.

Being that the error seems to revolve around "com.apple.iokit.IOStorageFamily", I would suspect it's a problem with the HDD. Try running a SMART check:

Apple - Downloads - System/Disk Utilities - SMART Utility

I no longer recommend using the Apple Hardware Test, since it seems woefully incapable of determining even the simplest HDD issues.

Good to hear. So, the drive is physically healthy, now let's check the filesystem. Download AppleJack and run it on Auto-pilot. You need to boot your Mac in Single-User mode (Command + S right after you power on) to run it.

Do as above as cwa suggests, but first print the instructions and read them as there are a number of ways to run AppleJack. Prefer the Auto Start option personally and don't be concerned about the time it takes as it checks the drive, repairs permissions and other things as well.
