So I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me what happened here, because I was always under the impression that this is not supposed to occur. Let me describe my story. I have a 3 year old MBP and have always had XP on it. The XP drive was formatted as FAT-32 and viewable/writable from the OS X partition, but not the reverse. Well the other day I decided to upgrade my internal HD. I did this and then restored the OS X from time machine. I had to re-install Windows XP and I believe I did nothing out of the norm. However, my Mac partition is now viewable and writable from the Windows side as well as the expect reverse. I was shocked to log into XP and see two internal hard drives listed in the My Computer portion.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Is this just a new feature of an updated bootcamp?
Any info would be great, and sorry if this is very old news that I'm just catching onto.
