Almost the same problem..

I'm trying to add another user account on my macbook but every time I go to system prefrences and click on accounts I get an error message that says, "You cannot open Accounts preferences because it doesn't work on an Intel-based Mac." Can anyone help?

You have root access available to you through sudo. What exactly is it that you are trying to do?

Way... way too many specs to list.
Does this mean you make your account a non-priv'd account?
