Safari on 10.6 seems really unstable

not sure what is up, but safari has been really unstable lately running 10.6. Just installed firefox. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm finding Word and CS4 is unstable. Anything that requires the new coded Finder to work basically !

10.6.1 update seems to solve it.

You're both running that already?

Edit: christm, I see you're running 10.5.1.... noticed too late;D

Yes, i'm running 10.6.1. firefox has been great so i'll probably just stick to that. Might take a little while for everything to get stable again!;D

Word has been pretty solid here and using the WebKit nightly builds (essentially Safari) have been largely issue free. What kind of troubleshooting have you done? Do you experience problems at any particular time/page?

Have been using Safari better than 90% of the time I'm browsing since installing SL.

It has been trouble free here both in my original upgrade install and in my current clean installation of 10.6.

i completely agree with this, i just uninstalled safari just now and it wont let me reinstall it it says i need 10.5.8 and i have 10.6.1 :( thank god i dl safari b4 i uninstalled
