lacie mac desktop icon stoped showing up on the screen

I have a 500GB LaCie rugged harddrive. It is partitioned so that I have 10GB for the pc side and the rest formatted for use with my mac. Lately, only the PC icon (exchange side) of the drive is howing up on my mac, the mac icon is not showing up at all therefore i cannot access this side of the drive. The PC side works just fine. Is there something I can do to get the other icon to show back up and thereby use the other side of my drive again?
