I recently acquired an Apple 17" monitor + md-tower Apple PC and unable to power-up display unit.
Monitor does not have a power cable just USB connection.
Is there a special unit that I need to sit between the monitor and the mid-tower. Link below will provide more info.
PC seems to power up OK, however, unable to confirm without the monitor.

Thanks in advance!

Your 17" Apple monitor only has one cable with an ADC connector. This means the monitor gets both it's video signal & power via this cable. You NEED a video card with an ADC port...otherwise you need this $99 dollar adapter:

Apple DVI to ADC Adapter - Apple Store (U.S.)

I know that this adapter is pretty pricey.

Hope this helps,

- Nick
