Wifi is saying is on but not working

my wifi isn't working,I have desktop leopard and can't seem to be able to get my pro or tiger to work with my wifi on?

You're going to have to repeat your original post and add about 3 times the information you gave. You have desktop leopard? A desktop running leopard? Can't get your pro (MB Pro? Mac pro?) or Tiger (what machine is running tiger?) with wifi on to work?

Do you have an actual router or a wireless access point? If you have a WAP, then you only have one IP so only one machine at a time can use the actual internet, the other computers are just connected to the network.

Also... wrong forum. Should be in networking.

Imagine the response I'd get if I called my mechanic and said:

My engine isn't working. I have sedan Honda and can't seem to be able to get my Accord or steering wheel to work with my engine on?
