I'm going to pick some up to use with iDVD. I can only find 'Memorex DVD+R DL'.

Is +R alright? Should I look for -R?

Any other tips?

-R tend to be more reliable for some reason.
There are a few manufacturers. I know Verbatim make them.

-R tends to be more reliable in older DVD players but nowadays either one works fine. If you plan on popping the discs into older DVD players, then go for -R; if not, then +R is going to be just fine.
