when i switched over from my Windows PC to Mac, i created a folder called my pictures and transferred into this folder all of the pics i had on my PC.
I then imported the pics from this folder into iPhoto.
Now from what i can see, iPhoto creates it's own folder structure and saves the photos in this structure. So the question is, am i duplicating my files by keeping the "my pictures" folder? I think i am, i can delete files and folders from "my pic" but they remain in iPhoto.... just want some re-asurance
