My active corners randomly stopped working

MacBook Black 2.4GhZ 4 GB RAM
They just don't work anymore, they are still active in system preferences. any ideas on why this might be?

Have you tried un-selecting the hot corners, re-starting then re-enabeling them?

...or perhaps the com.apple.finder.plist file is corrupt

So if the above didn't work, that's something else to look into.
