How to send Video?

I have been trying to send a video through mms, with no success. I have tried a variety of things, including this new web service called beam it up scotty, which supposedly sends the video to your phone in the correct/sendable format. However, this did not work!
I have been able to get the video onto my iphone and i can access it through the ipod app. How do i send this to someone through mms? Thanks in advance! I love this forum. :Cool:

20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
As far as I know, you can't with a 3G iPhone, you need the 3GS.
There may be some 3rd party apps to do the job though.
