CD Drive Jammed

Yeah. Don't ask how I got 3 CDs in there. There are 3 CDs stuck in my disc drive, and the stupid computer won't recognize a disk in there.

I don't imagine I can repair it myself. Can I get this fixed? If so, what would it cost, approximately? I don't know what to do.

I won't ask. You're probably looking at having to replace the entire drive. You can do it yourself if you have patience and some skill at taking things apart and following directions. Go to the "ifixit" web site and find your model machine and the correct drive. Price it out and then take a look at their step by step directions for replacing the drive. You can decide from there.

I have to admit, getting 3 CD's in a drive is somewhat of an achievement too, respect!!;D

I have neither and I am really bad at hand things that don't involve pressing buttons.
I can try... How much would it cost (approx) if I took it to a mac shop to get it fixed?
