My first venture into the Mac world.

Hi all, i`m new to the world of Mac.

Just got a 20inch Imac and well impressed, i`ve had various PC`s over the years on all the old systems, win 98,2000, Xp, Vista, thank god the old days are behind me, no more infections, lock ups, crashes etc.;D

I ve been reading through a few posts and i look forward to coming back for help from time to time, a very good forum.

I find the posts about Microsoft planning to open stores on the high street next to apple stores quite funny, do MS really think that the people who want and can afford the Porsche of computers are going to have a look around the Skoda showroom.................no i didnt think so either

I think imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. For a company whose market share is equated by Microsoft's CEO as "a rounding error", they sure do seem to like Apple's business models and products.

Ultimately, it's a good thing for the Windows sufferers. At least now they have some place to go to have Microsoft point them back to the PC vendor's tech support
