Broken "K" Key

I am curious as to how Apple would replace a broken key on a Macbook? With the iBook it was easy, install a new keypad. Anyone have experience with this on Macbook? What they actually do? I have AppleCare so I will take it in to replace that and the cracked case, FOR THE SECOND TIME
