help! My Mbp won't turn on!

I was using my mac book pro for about an hour trying to connect to my wifi. Since i couldnt connect, i restarted my mbp. When i finally got the wifi running, after a few minutes of surfing my screen went completely blank! I thought i might have moved the cursor to the corner so i moved it the nothing! I saw that there was no light in the front and since my mac sometimes shuts down on its own i clicked the power button. I sounded like it started then nothing. The screen is still blank and now there's no light! I really don't know what to do. Its connected to the charger but still nothing. Help!
