I used to have a Powerbook, and then it died, so I had my harddrive from my Powerbook made into an external harddrive... I now have a Macbook Pro, and I've been trying to figure out how to run my Adobe programs (Photoshop, Fireworks, etc) off of my external harddrive. It's not working. I've tried clicking on it on the external and also dragging the programs onto my new computer to no avail.

I've been researching how to get this to work, but I haven't had any luck. So, in an effort to not make my headache any worse, I come to you and ask... Is this possible? What do I need to do? I don't have the means to reinstall on my new computer... Am I out of luck?

Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks!

If you have moved from PowerBook to MacbookPro you had Apps for a PPC, so better to download fresh copies of the Apps for the Intel machine. You should still be able to open the files off the HD
