iTunes Home Sharing problem

I am trying to activate my iTunes home sharing between my MAC Mini and a PC with Vista.

The program has worked with the PC. I can access the iTunes Library on my MAC; however, when trying to access the PC's Library. I receive the following message:

The shared library is not responding (-3259)...

Check that any firewall software running on either the shared computer or this computer has been set to allow communication on port 3689.

How do I check this?

Any assistance would be appreciated

What anti-virus software are you running on the Vista machine. Many of them have their own firewall nowadays. I'd start there.
